Subsidies
Digitalzh is part of the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs). It is an initiative of InnovationQuarter and TU Delft, and is co-funded by the European Union, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, and the Province of South Holland. The subsidies needed to finance your digitization project are already in place. However, we do require you to fill out an application form.
Choose the right expert
Digitalzh enables you to hire this expert free of charge under certain conditions. Our connectors will help you find the right expert. Digitalzh has three types of expert engagement options:
- Expert on-site for 6 weeks
- Expert on-site for 3, 4, or 5 days
- Expert on-site for 5, 10, or 15 days (only for groups)
You can select the expert yourself to ensure that their expertise is a good fit for your business needs. This may be someone you already have in mind, but it is not required. It is important that the expert can act independently in their advice and is therefore not connected to an IT solution provider.

What does the general expert service for digital innovation and strategy entail?
Digitalzh's general expert service includes customized consulting and support programs for digital innovation and strategy. These services are available for both individual companies and groups of companies within the manufacturing, port and maritime, and greenhouse sectors. The deployment of an on-site expert is for 3, 4, or 5 working days (8 hours per day) when requested by an individual company. Groups of companies (minimum 3 companies) may apply for 5, 10, or 15 working days.

After you contact us, we will pair you directly with a Digitalzh connector who matches your sector and content challenge. The connector will schedule a no-obligation appointment with you for an intake. During an intake, online or at your location, we will discuss your challenge and together draw up an action plan. This is followed by an analysis and advice on the next steps. What those next steps are varies by project and is customized.

The intake, assessment, and advice are free and without obligation for SMEs and midcaps (up to 3,000 employees). TThe cost of the digitization process depends on the specific actions you take. Digitalzh will help you take full advantage of the subsidies and schemes available for digitization.
How is it that some services are free?
Digitalzh uses grants created to help SME entrepreneurs digitize their businesses. You do not have to apply for the subsidies yourself. We have already done that for you. This way, we can help you at little to no cost.
Is there a maximum number of services I can purchase from Digitalzh?
How much time will the process take me?
We obviously take your valuable time into account, but you should account for at least an hour for the intake, assessment, and advice. The time required for the next steps in the process depends entirely on your digitalization strategy. You have full control over the amount of time you invest in digitization.

A Digitalzh connector is a specialist who will help you develop the right digitalization strategy for your business. They identify your company's opportunities and challenges and provide independent advice on the best approach.
