The connector will schedule a no-obligation appointment with you for an intake. During an intake, online or at your location, we will discuss your challenge and together draw up an action plan. This is followed by an analysis and advice on the next steps. What those next steps are varies by project and is customized.

The intake, assessment, and advice are free and without obligation for SMEs and midcaps (up to 3,000 employees). TThe cost of the digitalization process depends on the specific actions you take. Digitalzh will help you take full advantage of the subsidies and schemes available for digitalization.
How is it that some services are free?
Digitalzh uses grants created to help SME entrepreneurs digitize their businesses. You do not have to apply for the subsidies yourself. We have already done that for you. This way, we can help you at little to no cost.

How much time will the process take me?
We obviously take your valuable time into account, but you should account for at least an hour for the intake, assessment, and advice. The time required for the next steps in the process depends entirely on your digitalization strategy. You have full control over the amount of time you invest in digitalization.

What does the general expert service for digital innovation and strategy entail?
Digitalzh's general expert service includes customized consulting and support programs for digital innovation and strategy. These services are available for both individual companies and groups of companies within the manufacturing, port and maritime, and greenhouse sectors. The deployment of an on-site expert is for 3, 4, or 5 working days (8 hours per day) when requested by an individual company. Groups of companies (minimum 3 companies) may apply for 5, 10, or 15 working days.

What happens after I submit a Fieldlab application?
After submitting your application, our team conducts a comprehensive analysis of your business needs. We then create a customized action plan that will help you make targeted and efficient use of the Fieldlab. Our experts will guide you throughout the process to ensure you get the most out of your time in the Fieldlab.
How can a Fieldlab help derisk my investment in new technologies?

Do I already need to have specific technological knowledge to work in a Fieldlab?
No, you don't have to be an expert in the technologies you want to explore. The Fieldlabs are designed to support companies at all stages, and you will receive guidance from experienced professionals who will help you every step of the way, from concept to implementation.
What exactly do I get after completing a course?
That depends, but in all cases we make concrete agreements in advance so that it is crystal clear what we can expect from each other. If it turns out that an existing market solution is sufficient, we will suggest possible suppliers or link you to interesting student projects. If your employees need training to work with the new technology, either the supplier or our team can provide support.
Are you going to test a solution in a field lab? Afterwards, you'll know whether this is the right technology for your company and what step to take next. And even then, we remain available to support and advise you.

What does the journey with an on-site expert involve?
This track offers you six weeks of support from an independent digital expert selected specifically for your business. The expert comes to your location for approximately two days a week to help you digitize your business processes. At the end of the program, you will have a clear picture of your digital maturity, a concrete follow-up plan, and insight into how your customers experience your digital innovations.
What are scoping sessions and how can they help my business?
Scoping sessions are intensive workshops in which you explore with our experts whether your chosen digital idea is viable. The track includes two workshops and a final presentation, and a Digital Maturity Assessment as a baseline measurement.
